Denice is a certified Yoga and Pilates Instructor who, after 35 years in corporate America, found her true vocation in sharing the holistic benefits offered by these disciplines. Each provides excellent tools to align body, mind, and spirit and help balance life’s daily demands. Denice is also a certified Reiki Master & Teacher. This ancient Japanese healing art is a natural adjunct to both Yoga and Pilates. And, is a valued, standalone therapy for palliative and supportive care of persons with serious chronic life and health challenges. The International Association of Reiki Professionals says, “It’s among the top 3 complementary therapies offered in U.S., hospitals.”
Denice teaches group and private Yoga & Pilates classes virtually and in person. She also sees clients for in-person Reiki group certification classes and private Reiki therapy sessions.

Synergy
1) Holistically, we are greater than the sum of our parts.
2) Synergy allows us to become ageless and timeless even when our individual “parts” may be injured, diseased, creaky, cranky, or perceived to be worn out.
3) Yoga and Pilates, as synergistic tools, honor our limitations with grace and without judgment. Then they physically tone and strengthen the body, improve mobility and flexibility, strengthen and improve the cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive systems, and more. They also enhance self-awareness, confidence, clarity, and joie de vivre (joy of life).
4) Reiki, as a synergistic tool, uses energy to release and relieve physical, mental, and emotional blockages that cause stagnation, deterioration, and depletion of our body's natural capacity to heal.
Surrender
1) Holistically, surrender means honoring what is with grace and acceptance.
2) Surrender allows us to release or let go of what no longer serves us mentally, physically, emotionally, or spiritually. And, in doing so, it makes space and opens us to receive all the universe offers, such as creative alternatives, new options, and better resources beyond our experience and expectations.
3) Yoga, Pilates, and Reiki open the mind, develop the body, and awaken the spirit to the benefits surrender has on overall well-being.
